This update not only screws over being able to chat, but it makes it easier for predators to bypass chat and not get caught! People are selling underage accounts, and adults who look younger are being passed as kids. It was better when anyone could just chat, because predators could be called out in chat a lot more. Now, they can pick the exact age groups they want to groom. And there was already an option to disable chat and put parental controls anyway! When me and my little cousin played Roblox, I made an account for her, and disabled chat on it, so she could only talk to me, because, well... I was in the same room as her. Also, the people calling people predators for speaking up about this update is so fucking stupid. I hope karma fucks over these people badly, because that's not a term to throw around loosely. Even besides the fact that it's better for predators, it's suppression of privacy and free speech. There's already issues with the AI company, and you should not have to give any company your face to chat on their platform. Erik would be utterly disgusted at how David is right now, and this is complete betrayal of his morals.
