The irl Tord Larsson left because he was stalked and harassed and his character was brought back without permission AS A VILLAIN! (the worst part is #notmytord or that they brought Tord back in the first place, it would be ok if Tord agreed to this but he didn't) Matt serves nothing to the plot and is basically a background character, we get attached to Tord and this happens, they imply that he only was friends with them to store his robot! I can't see it as canon another reason because they changed the beginning of 25 ft under the sea, they also changed Tord so much that he doesn't even feel like the same character, he clearly cared about his friends, he was never Russian or an inventor, he could of snuck into the house to get his robot when they were underwater or a lot of other parts in the series anyway. The plot holes too, Tom grows stubble implying that he's been looking for a house for prettyyy long, but Edd, Matt and Tord are still in the middle of their movie. Why would Tord have a bunch of fists inside his robot aiming at himself? Tord talks more here than in the whole series and Tord didn't talk much in the older better ones, and it was more Tom doing mean things to him, what the HELL happened!?
